THE OBJECTIVE
Finder Lab, the prestigious research facility of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), faced increasing challenges in managing laboratory inventory across its multiple departments. With growing demands for efficiency and accountability in research operations, Unpad sought a comprehensive stock management solution. Collaborating with our team, Finder Lab aimed to develop a Seamless Laboratory Stock Management System to optimise operations, ensure accurate resource allocation, and improve overall efficiency. The objective was to implement a digital system that streamlined inventory tracking, improved accuracy, and supported seamless operations.
OUR WORK
Our team adopted a structured approach to design and implement the stock management system:
- Needs Assessment: Conducted workshops with researchers and lab managers to identify pain points and prioritise functionalities.
- Centralised Database: Built a cloud-based system to integrate inventory data across all lab departments, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
- Automated Alerts: Configured automated notifications for low-stock levels, expiry dates, and replenishment needs.
- Compliance Features: Designed audit trails and reporting tools to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
